IT Companies

The Institute of Informatics maintains constant cooperation with employers. There is a Consulting Council for this Institute at the Faculty, which consists of employers' representatives. The Council is an advisory and consultative body with regard to study programmes.

Cooperation with individual companies from the IT area is also demonstrated in practical terms:

• students realise their projects within the subject “Team project” under the supervision of company representatives
• students undergo additional work placements (it often happens that a work placement in a company is a reward in competitions organised at the Faculty)
• classes in selected subjects are conducted with participation of employers
• companies organise additional workshops/lectures for students at the Faculty
