FMPI scientists among the top 2% most influential | Stanford University & Elsevier ranking

Once again, researchers from the University of Gdańsk have been included in the ranking of the top 2% most influential scientists - those the most frequently cited ones. According to one of the most prestigious rankings, compiled jointly by Stanford University and publishing company Elsevier, among the 27 UG staff members listed, as many as 12 are affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics or the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT).

More about the ranking can be found on the Top 2% Scientists website.

The latest update (August 2025) is based on a list of over 100,000 of the most frequently cited scientists and includes two lists: 9 individuals are featured in the main ranking (entire scientific career), and 11 are included in the supplementary ranking (most cited in the year 2024).
