GCUB International Mobility Program (GCUB-Mob)

The International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) continues its traditional program of scholarships, accompanied by monthly stipends, within the scope of its International Mobility Program (GCUB-Mob), aimed at international students from the five continents interested in pursuing Master's or Doctorate degrees at associated Brazilian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

The GCUB-Mob International Mobility Program strategically contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by strengthening internationalization in higher education and training highly qualified human resources. The initiative expands international students’ access to postgraduate studies in Brazilian institutions, promoting SDG 4 – Quality Education. It supports SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities by creating academic opportunities for students from different regions worldwide, especially those from developing countries. Furthermore, the program strengthens SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, by stimulating international scientific cooperation, building research networks, and exchanging knowledge among universities and research centers on a global scale.

GCUB, founded on October 29, 2008, is a non-profit civil association of private rights, with academic, scientific, and cultural goals, constituted by a network of 104 (one hundred four) Brazilian HEIs and 10 (ten) foreign institutions. Its mission is to develop academic, scientific, and cultural relations among its member institutions, and to promote university internationalization through programs, projects, and actions related to international cooperation. Its activities are carried out in collaboration with international organizations, foreign universities, university networks, and government bodies, including countries across all five continents.
