The Great Well-Being Study of UG Students and Doctoral Candidates
Dear Students!
We are members of the Psychological Research Group Experior, and together with the Academic Center for Psychological Support at UG, we invite you to participate in a study on psychological well-being. This study is intended for UG students (both full-time and part-time) as well as PhD candidates. It is the first bottom-up initiative of this kind at a Polish university, organized on such a large scale!
The study is extensive—we aim to assess your well-being and understand whether and how the university contributes to it. Our goal is to identify areas where the university can support you and help improve your well-being. Based on the study results, and in collaboration with the university authorities, we will develop an action plan tailored to your needs. This plan will include support, educational, and organizational solutions. It is very important that the study also includes students who feel they are functioning well and have a high level of well-being — this will help us identify protective factors.
We kindly ask you to complete a survey. Immediately after filling it out, you will receive personalized feedback based on your responses. You will learn more about your well-being, mental health, and academic functioning. While this is not a psychological diagnosis, it will provide guidance on whether and in what areas it may be beneficial to seek professional psychological help, as well as highlight key aspects to focus on for your well-being.
We warmly encourage you to take part in this study—not only can you gain valuable insights about yourself, but you can also contribute to improving the well-being and mental health of all students at UG!
Warm regards, Members of the Psychological Research Group “Experior”
