Dean's Order regarding the organization of classes on December 22nd and 23rd, 2025
Dear Academia!
We hereby inform you that, in accordance with Order No. 15/2025 of the Dean of the FMPI of the University of Gdańsk of November 24th, 2025, all classes scheduled for December 22-23, 2025, will be conducted remotely.
If online classes are not possible on these days, they must be made up on another date, determined in accordance with the applicable rules for organizing classes.

Inauguration of the 2025/2026 Academic Year at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics
We have officially welcomed the new academic year!
On October 1st, 2025, at 1000 AM in lecture halls 1.14 and 1.15 of the Institute of Informatics, the Inauguration of the 2025/2026 Academic Year of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics took place.
FMPI scientists among the top 2% most influential | Stanford University & Elsevier ranking
Once again, researchers from the University of Gdańsk have been included in the ranking of the top 2% most influential scientists - those the most frequently cited ones. According to one of the most prestigious rankings, compiled jointly by Stanford University and publishing company Elsevier, among the 27 UG staff members listed, as many as 12 are affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics or the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT).
