Open lecture by prof. Arieh Iserles | November 13th

We cordially invite you to an open lecture titled How To Write a Paper, which will be delivered by Professor Arieh Iserles from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge.

The meeting will take place on November 13th 2025 (Thursday) at 12:00 PM, in Lecture Hall 1.14 at the Institute of Informatics of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the University of Gdańsk.

Professor Arieh Iserles is an editor of many prestigious mathematical journals including Acta Numerica, IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis, Transactions of Mathematics and its Applications and Foundations of Computational Mathematics.

Professor Iserles is the Chair of the Expert Council for the Development of Scientific Research at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the University of Gdańsk. His research interests include various aspects of the numerical solution of differential equations and other areas of computational mathematics.
