From August 31 to September 10, the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at the University of Gdańsk hosted Q-Camp 2026 – a two-week summer school organized in cooperation between the University of Gdańsk and Kainos. The theme of this year’s edition was “Quantum technologies are reshaping the foundations of secure communication.”

Q-Camp received approximately 50 applications from around the world, from which 25 participants were selected. The summer school brought together 43 students and instructors from a dozen countries.

The 9th International Workshop on Advanced Spectroscopy and Optical Materials (IWASOM) will take place at the University of Gdańsk from 5 to 10 July 2026. The conference will bring together researchers from around the world working in spectroscopy, materials physics and chemistry, and advanced photonic technologies.

From May 13 to May 15, 2026, the XVII KCIK-ICTQT Symposium will take place in Sopot, bringing together members of the National Quantum Information Centre (KCIK) network and leading international experts in quantum information and quantum technologies collaborating with the ICTQT. This year's edition was held under the title Frontiers of Machine Learning in Quantum Technologies 2025 (FMLQT25).
