Early Career Scientist | looking for mentors
Invite young researchers from SEA-EU universities to your research unit!
SEA-EU at the University of Gdańsk (UG) invites participation in the Early Career Scientist programme. As part of this initiative, experienced researchers can offer internships and invite young researchers from SEA-EU partner universities to collaborate on short-term research projects.
The initiative is open to researchers from SEA-EU universities in Algarve, Bodø, Brest, Cádiz, Kiel, Naples, Gdańsk, Split, and Malta. It is an excellent opportunity to expand your team with talented researchers from different countries, develop research projects with an international perspective, and attract additional sources of funding.
The internship should last between 10 and 60 days. The exact length of the collaboration and its specific details will be decided on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the needs of the research groups and the selected candidates. Funding for the intern's stay is covered by the sending university's funds. Traineeships are subject to a secondment agreement, which specifies the division of responsibilities between the sending organisation and the host organisation.
Offers will be posted on the alliance website and can be responded to by PhD students and early career researchers from all SEA-EU partner universities. Offers are published on the alliance's international website and internship proposals can be submitted via the special form.
