FMPI staff at the University of Maribor | Project COVER workshops
From September 8th to 12th, 2025, dr inż. Magda Dettlaff, dr Hanna Furmańczyk, and dr hab. Paweł Żyliński, prof. UG, from the Institute of Informatics of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of the University of Gdańsk, participated in the COVER project workshop at the University of Maribor.
The COVER project – "Combinatorial Optimization for Versatile Applications to Emerging Urban Problems" - funded by the MSCA-SE program, is an initiative bringing together experts to exchange and expand knowledge on interdisciplinary approaches to issues related to urbanization and smart cities.
The workshop gathered COVER project participants from all consortium universities. During the event, results of work conducted within the individual research groups were presented, including: a literature review on the group’s thematic area, identification of research problems, and development of mathematical models for the analyzed issues.
