Procedure to confer the degree of doctor with habilitation

The requirements to be fulfilled by an applicant for a postdoctoral degree are set out in the Act of 20 July 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science (as amended) and Resolution No. 13/23 of the Senate of the University of Gdańsk of 2 March 2023 on the Procedure for the conferment of the degree of doctor with habilitation at the University of Gdańsk (as amended):

1. Possession of achievements constituting a significant contribution of the author to the development of the discipline, including at least one monograph or a series of thematically related articles (more than one achievement);

2. Demonstration of significant scholarly activity in more than one university or research unit (this condition is not fulfilled by cooperation in which the postdoctoral researcher works in the same place all the time).
